On july 23rd 2022, the EMFTHA e.V. breeding show took place in bright sunshine at Hof Liebeneck, Osterspai. Members from the Allgäu, Berlin, Niedersachsen and Rheinland-Pfalz were present. Gerti Merk, Marion Wickert and the breeding director Britta Schielke were on site as judges. Johanna Merk took part for the first time as a breeding judge candidate. The judges were able to directly apply what they had learned from the breeding judge training in may.
A total of five foals were presented, four of which are descended from the stallion “Gunslingers Velvet Vegas”. A licensed and performance-tested stallion-book I stallion, which has been actively used in the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse breed for several years. One foal descends from the stallion-book II stallion “Chocolatier”. It is the first german-born foal of this stallion.
All foals were presented on the the hand at the plaster test and then in the loose run in the arena. After completion of the exterior test, all foals were deployed. The results were explained in detail to the audience by the judges.
After the joint final photo of all participants, the afternoon ended with a cozy get-together with coffee and cake.
